  • State and Local Permitting completed in 2009
  • Federal Permitting completed April, 2010
  • Cape Wind granted first U.S. commercial offshore wind lease, October, 2010
  • Cape Wind long term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with National Grid Approved, November, 2010
  • Cape Wind Construction & Operations Plan approved, April, 2011
  • Cape Wind / National Grid PPA Approval Upheld by Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, December, 2011
  • Cape Wind PPA with NSTAR approved, November, 2012
  • Current Status: Cape Wind is currently in its project financing phase, Barclays is its Financial Advisor.  Construction will begin by the end of the year.  The project will be partially commissioned in 2015 and fully commissioned in 2016.
